King Living

In 1988, CRM acquired 2 acres of land over four separate parcels within the North Avenue, Halsted Street, and Clybourn Avenue triangle (Weed Street District). Originally developed with a Firestone and Lettuce Entertain You Restaurant, Bub City, the project helped re-establish the neighborhood from an industrial corridor into the retail destination it is today.

In 2024, CRM completed the redevelopment of the former Firestone property into a premier 10,000-square-foot furniture showroom for King Living, a globally recognized Australian furniture retailer with locations across multiple continents. This flagship showroom marked King Living’s first entry into the United States market, further reinforcing the Clybourn Corridor’s position as one of the nation’s leading destinations for retail and home furnishings.
